Nea r the end of the story, Nikawa-kun realizes that Shiratori is trying to work up the courage to ask him out. However he also knows that Kashi Hisaki is the boy from middle school that had a deep crush on her, so he makes sure that he gets Eve and Hisaki-kun together.
